Ron’s family is also in the entertainment industry as his mother was an actress whiles his father was a writer, actor, and director. His father’s real family name is Beckenholdt but chose Howard as his stage name.
The Howard family moved to Hollywood in 1958 and in the following year, Ron’s younger brother, Clint Howard, was born.
