Fairy Tail that is also known as Feari Teiru in the Japanese language is s fantasy anime tv series. Fairy Tail is based on the manga series that has the same name. Hiro Mashima wrote and illustrated the series.
The manga series was published first on August 2, 2006. The final volume of the series was published on July 26, 2017. The manga series, midway into a run, was chosen for the anime tv series. Season 1 of the Fairy Tail appeared on the screen for viewers on October 12, 2009.
Shinji Ishihara directed season 9 of the series. Like the previous series, it traces the adventures of Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel who belong to the guild namely Fairy Tail. Season 9 of the series had two story arcs. The first seven episodes of the series span around the Avatar arc.
The avatar has been adapted from the last chapter of the 49th volume to the second last chapter of the 52nd. The remaining 44 episodes make up the Alvarez arc. It adapts material from the final chapter of the 51st volume to the end of manga. This section encompasses the guild’s war with the Alvarez Empire. It also contains the final battle of Natsu with his adversaries Acnologia and Zeref.

The cast of Fairy Tail
The Japanese version of Fairy Tail has Tetsuya to give voice to the character of the leading character Natsu Dragneel. Aya Hirano played the voiceover for Lucy Heartfilli. Yuichi Nakamura lent voice t0 Gray Fullbuster. The character Happy had the voice from Rie Kugimiya while Ezra Scarlet had the voice from Sayaka Ohara.
Satomi Sato was hired to lend a voice to Wendy Marvell, Yuhi was hired to give voice to Yui Horie, and Mamiko Noto was hired to give voice to Mavis. Kosuke Toriumi and Akira Ishida gave their voices to Achologia and Zeref respectively.

The plot of Fairy Tail season 9

Together, the group embarks on a number of quests to hunt down criminals, take on demons, and battle dark guilds that had formed illegally. In Fairy Tail season 9, Natsu finds out that Fiore has been invaded by Alvarez Empire that was a military nation.
Zeref rules the nation and aims to get the heart of the fairy. The desire to rewrite history has been burning in his heart. He wants to stop the brutalities that he has caused alongside Acnologia. Natsu is the younger brother of Zeref. The viewers only get to know this fact as the plot unfolds in the later episodes. It is also revealed that Natsu is the real incarnation of E.N.D.
They encounter Zeref but things slip out of their control when a black dragon named Acnologia enters the scene. Acnologia is extremely powerful as well as ruthless. However, the group survives the onslaught he inflicts on them. Natsu’s father came out of Natsu’s body and fought with Acnologia. However, he dies at the hands of the evil dragon as Natsu helplessly watches him die.
With the death of Igneel, Natsu escapes the scene with his group. They hatch a plot to avenge the death of Igneel. As the two villains are on the loose, the group has to work harder to devise plots and strategies to counter their might.
