Victoria Anne Simmons was an ill-fated little baby girl, who died just a few hours after her birth. In this article, we will tell you everything about this poor baby girl as much as we can.

Victoria Anne: A Quick Brief

She was a little baby girl, who was born on 26 September, 2006 and died just a few hours later. She was the daughter of Joseph and Justine Simmons.

Tragedy That Couldn’t Be Avoided

If the sources are to be believed, it’s said that she was born with a defect, which was not at all curable. That one of the rarest diseases took her life.

Cause of Her Death

Victoria suffered from omphalocele, which is a birth defect. Omphalocele is a congenital birth defect in which an infant is born with some of their abdominal organs protruding outside the body, covered by a transparent membrane. It occurs when the muscles in the abdominal wall fail to close properly during fetal development, requiring surgical intervention to correct and protect the exposed organs.

Could That Defect Be Cured?

Yes, omphalocele can be treated. The standard treatment is surgical repair, which typically occurs shortly after birth. During the surgery, the protruding organs are carefully placed back into the abdomen, and the abdominal wall is closed. The success of the treatment depends on the size and complexity of the omphalocele and any associated health issues. With prompt medical care, many children born with omphalocele can lead healthy lives.

Victoria’s Dad: A Living Legend

Joseph Simmons, known by his stage name “Run-D.M.C.,” is a highly influential figure in the world of hip-hop music. Born on November 14, 1964, in Hollis, Queens, New York City, he, along with Darryl McDaniels (D.M.C.) and Jason Mizell (Jam Master Jay), formed the pioneering hip-hop group Run-D.M.C. in the 1980s.

They are credited with bringing hip-hop to the mainstream and are known for their distinctive style, which blended rap with rock elements. Run-D.M.C. achieved tremendous success with their 1986 album “Raising Hell” and the iconic track “Walk This Way,” a collaboration with rock band Aerosmith. Joseph Simmons’ legacy extends beyond music, as he is also a minister and a prominent advocate for social issues.

Her Mom: Justine

Justine Simmons, also known as Justine Jones or Rev Run’s wife, is a prominent figure in her own right. She’s recognized for her role in the reality TV series “Run’s House,” where she provided a glimpse into her life as the wife of Joseph “Run-D.M.C.” Simmons and her role as a loving mother to their children. Justine’s grounded and supportive presence, along with her strong family values, endeared her to viewers. She’s an advocate for healthy living and relationships, emphasizing the importance of family unity. Justine Simmons’ warmth and wisdom have made her an inspirational figure in the world of reality television and beyond.

Conclusion

Even though Victoria lived for just a few hours, she still made headlines and is still remembered by many people around the world. It’s no less than a miracle, that a baby, who lived for just a few hours has got so much recognition, so imagine what wonders she could have made if she lived a long and healthy life.
