Tattoo-Inspired T-Shirts: The New Fashion Trend

Humans have been marking and drawing their bodies for thousands of years. Tattoos are no modern invention. Indeed, its provenance can be traced back to 5000 BC, when the Japanese adorned clay figurines with tattoo-like markings. These perpetual designs- at times plain, sometimes elaborate, have been personified as charms, status symbols, statements of love, signs of religious beliefs, embellishments, and even forms of punishment.

Tattoo culture is going nowhere but growing in a quantum leap. This is among the fascinating forms of art today. At times, choosing to wear body art was a permanent decision. Nowadays, however, only some are inclined to ink their body permanently. They prefer to wear tattoo tees or apparel instead of needling their skin. Simply put, if you can’t have a tattoo on your skin, you can buy a garment with a tattoo embraced and still enjoy the tattoo culture.

People wear different kinds of tattoos to express themselves. Below we have described some classic tattoo design ideas you can get engraved on your apparel-

1. Classic Americana tattoo

It is the first tattoo you might think of, known as old school or sailor tattooing. It recalls the early days of tattooing in the United States. Furthermore, it is defined by simple, bold designs often featuring anchors, swallows, pin-up girls, and similar colors and imagery. They are closely associated with Ocean and Nautical imagery, Fierce predatory animals, female pin-up figures, or a combination of roses, hearts, and daggers. Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins popularised this tattoo style in the 1930s.

2. Go bold with a New School tattoo style

This style is also known as cartoon tattooing. This tattoo style is for someone who wants bold, colorful and crazy cosmic book tattoo styles. It features bright colors, magnifying lines, and cartoon-like imagery.

3. Japanese Tattoo Style

It is also referred to as the Japanese style Irezumi. It has maintained its popularity over the history of tattooing. This traditional style of tattooing originated in Japan. It is a standalone large-scale work known for large images that cover the arms, back, and legs.

4. Black and grey tattoo styles

Black and grey tattoo styles are also known as “jailhouse tattooing” or “joint style tattooing,” The style adhered to have originated in prisons in the 1970s. The primary aspect of black and grey tattoos is the shading technique. It is done by watering down the black ink to create a range of colors.

5. Realism tattoos

These tattoos are also referred to as photorealism. They feature a detailed and accurate representation of real-life imagery. This style can portray anything from objects or scenery to people and animals in colorful or black and white colors. This classic tattoo style is ideal for displaying something specific and unique.

6. Blackwork tattoo style

Blackwork tattoos originally source from the original tribal tattoos. These are made of bold and thick black lines in various geometric shapes. Dark art, etching or engraving style, illustrative and graphic art are all considered to be within the appearance of blackwork.
