If you are not sure whether moving to South Carolina is good or not, we are here to make it easy for you to decide if your stance on relocating to South Carolina is a good idea or not.  Following are some points that will enable you to make the right decision.

Point #1: Barbecue of South Carolina

Foodies especially those who like barbecued food items love visiting South Carolina. The reason for it is simple – this place, South Carolina offers special in-house BBQ sauce which is not available anywhere else. The taste of BBQ sauce here is not too spicy, mild, sour, or saltish – it is unique and unbeatable.

Interestingly, there is an entire trail in S. Carolina with 200+ restaurants. Each of these restaurants has scrumptious offerings on the BBQ menu. Residents of South Carolina are accustomed to the kind of sauces served with food items. Some of the sauces are mustard-based which makes the taste unique and extremely satisfying.

Point #2: South Carolina has Amazing Public Spots

Here in South Carolina, there are many national places like monuments, parks, historic sites, etc. However, upon research, we got to know that Palmetto State is not included or protected by the government (federal).

Parks and national spots cover 80,000 acres of land. The land however starts from Blue Ridge Mountain(s) and covers all the land towards the coast. Some portion of this land is left for wilderness but another land is kept for recreation, historic interest, and culture.

Point #3: Weather Conditions in South Carolina

If you like moderate or sunny weather, this is the place to make your next dream house. Also, if you are living in a cold place right now but do not want to be there, then South Carolina has all the reasons to relocate. However, once you move to South Carolina, remember the summers here are a bit too harsh. Summers on the other hand are very humid and dry. There are thunderstorms and tornadoes mostly during the afternoons.

Climate changes a lot. The average is between 52- and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It is said that the 7th and 8th months of the year are the hottest. The hottest are 91 and 93. Whereas the coldest remains 58- and 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Point #4: Importance of “Sweet Tea”

It is called the place where tea was born. In other words, South Carolina is the location where tea came into being. But not any ordinary one, the sweet delight of the country. The locals of this state are known for their sweet tooth. Any afternoon where all youngsters and oldies sit together is passed with the sweet haven of tea. In South Carolina’s Summerville nobody is familiar with bitter tea.

Point #5: Reasonable Taxes

There are many perks of relocating to South Carolina. Low tax is one of the advantages of living in this state. Social security gains are not taxed anywhere in Carolina. The concept of pension is high. Moreover, there is no inheritance tax or state tax for seniors.

Point #6: Affordable Housing Schemes and Real Estate

The best thing about South Carolina is the real estate and housing prices. In S. Carolina the price of a house on average is $166,000. It is 15% less than the remaining parts of Carolina. However, real estate and house prices are dependent on a lot of factors which may include location and neighborhood. If you talk about houses in Charleston, the average house is sold at $300,000 or slightly more. But yes, most of the houses are low in price which makes them affordable. That is the reason why here in South Carolina most of the residents own their houses.

But if you want to rent a house with one bedroom then it will cost somewhere around $1,300. Prices increased in July and August. So, if you really want to get a new house, make everything done (in regard to buying a house) any time from September to April. We would encourage you to take help from a house agent, realtor, or someone who is in this profession.

Last Words:

See, we have listed some advantages of moving to South Carolina. If you think these factors will make your life easier. Please close the deal now and move to the enticing South Carolina. If you have any doubts. We would suggest you remove them, do more research, and then make a decision.
