Currently, he is going to make comeback with his new unreleased film ‘Pathan’. It was supposed to be released in 2021, but could not happen due to the delay and arrest of his son Aryan in a drugs case. Story plot of Pathan
Even though there has been no big revelation about Pathan it is speculated that Shahrukh Khan will make a comeback with a power-packed action role. He is sporting a long hairstyle look for it. Shahrukh will be seen opposite the dimpled actress Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham who will be doing a negative role. The film also stars other talented casts, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. Pathan will be a thriller action film directed by Siddharth Anand. The shooting of this film is done in India and some parts in Dubai.
What caused the delay of Pathan, when it could have been released in 2021?
Yes, it is true that the Pathan film was supposed to be released in 2021, but did not happen as expected. Well, the one big reason why the movie was put on hold is because of the arrest of his elder son Aryan Khan in the drugs case in Mumbai cruise on 3rd October. He was really disturbed by the constant interrogation by NCB to his son regarding his involvement in the drug matter.
Shahrukh was worried about his son’s health and had his staff bring home-cooked lunch for his good health. Shahrukh’s wife Gauri too was disturbed and brought a few packets of Mcdonald’s burger for his son at Arthur Road Central Jail but was denied permission due to security reasons.
Gearing up for Pathan
Now since Aryan is out of his gloomy phase, SRK seems relaxed now and is back with his preparation for his upcoming flick Pathan. He had his personal trainer to help him back in shape at Mannat, his Mumbai residence. Shahrukh is determined in leaving no chance to surprise his fans with his action avatar in Pathan. Besides physical workouts, King Khan is following a strict diet. And it is needed because in some of the scenes he would be seen pumping iron and action scenes.
Moreover, according to sources, the actor is preparing himself with reading scripts for his future projects in the current year. Shahrukh is returning after a gap of 3 years since his 2018 film Zero directed by Anand L. Rai. The film failed to make its mark at the box office and audience. The film starred Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. It is the second trio joining after 3 of them were seen in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. when the second wave of covid struck, no further film of SRK has come so far.
Reunion with Deepika Padukone
Earlier it was Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, and Kajol who became hit pair with Shahrukh Khan in a number of films earlier in the 90s. But now it seems he has found a new pair in Deepika Padukone with whom he has done films like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, and now Pathan.
