Cremation Urns for Humans

If you are shopping for an urn for your own cremated remains, there are a few things to consider. The first is the size of the urn you want. There are many sizes, from very small to large. Smaller urns are more personal and can be placed in a niche or in a garden.

Larger urns may be kept in a family room, basement or den. Another thing to consider is the type of urn you want. Some people like to keep their cremated remains in a beautiful crystal urn or something that looks like it came out of a store.

What Size Urn Do I Need?

Cremation urn are available in many different shapes and styles, with most people choosing a traditional urn or memorial urn. Traditional urns are made from clay and feature a rounded or upright shape, often with a lid that is hinged or has a sliding top. Some traditional urns feature a space for a picture or plaque, and they can be decorated with colored glaze.
