I am sorry is a very loved television sitcom that revolves around a family, its issues, and how they deal with it daily. The show belongs to the genre of Sitcom, comedy, and drama. It was created by Andrea Savage and stars Andrea Savage, Tom Everett Scott, and Olive Petrucci in important roles. 

The background score of the show has been given by Andrew Feltenstein, John Nau, and Danny Dunlap. The show has been made in the United States of America and its original language is English. It has had two seasons released till now and both the seasons had a total of 20 episodes.

The executive producers of the show are Andrea Savage, Joey Slamon, Jessica Elbaum, Jason Zaro, Billy Rosenberg, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer. The entire show has been shot on a single-camera set-up.

Plot:

The story of the sitcom series “I’m Sorry” revolves around the main character of the series- Andrea Savage (“Veep”, “Episodes”) who is a wife and also a mother and is a star in this thirty-minute scripted comedy as a budding writer. Andrea as a mother and as a person has a huge problem with her extremely outward confidence which is belied by an inner sense of immaturity and neuroses where the manifestation always happens in an unexpected way that always causes problems. 

In the small circle of her family lies a more straitlaced husband – Mike Savage and their dear daughter who is quite inquisitive in many ways – Amelia Savage. In the midst of the small circle and the big screen lies Andrea trying her best while navigating her self-induced complications whose occurrences have passed about the range of the word “often”. 

In the premiere episode of the 12 episode season 1 of the series, the story kicks off with Andrea finding a salacious secret of another mother whose daughter attends the same school as her daughter Amelia which she isn’t able to get past. The situation puts her in a situation where she ends up playing phone tag with her doctor’s office which makes everyone around her suspicious as it is quite unlikely for a doctor to contact a patient on a Saturday.
