There are three main requirements for connection:

- The channel must have at least 4,000 hours of views in the last 12 months. You do not need to wait a year; the main thing is that you need the number of hours.
- The channel must have at least 1,000 subscribers.
In addition, the author must reside in a country or region where the program is available. You also need to link the channel to the AdSense account.
How to Connect?
The connection process will take no more than five minutes. Just follow the step-by-step instructions:
- Go to YouTube Creator Studio.
- Select the Monetization section.
- If you are connected to Google AdSense and linked to a channel, you can skip to the next step right away. If not, follow these steps.
- Choose the ad formats that viewers will see.
- Next, wait for the channel to be checked by the moderators of the video hosting.
- After successfully passing the verification, ads will appear in your videos.
Keep in mind that moderators may disable channel monetization due to non-compliance with the community rules. Most often, this happens for the following reasons:
