The successful US Millionaire took birth on the 8th of April in the year 1947. His parents Marjorie O. Kiyosaki and Ralph H. Kiyosaki were inhabitants of the Hilo region in the state of Hawaii. His father was a teacher, which marked a great foundation for his education.

Kiyosaki attended Hilo High School where he received education from the preliminary stage till graduation. He was a bright student and his talent allowed him to secure a seat in the United States Merchant Marine Academy, New York. He graduated as a desk officer in the year 1969.

Robert Kiyosaki stated his married life in the year 1994 by tying the knot with Kim. Mrs Kiyosaki, just like her husband, is a real estate investor, author and a motivational speaker. The couple is happily married for 26 long years. They currently reside in the Phoenix region of the Arizona state.

Robert Kiyosaki stepped into this world in the year 1947.  He is going to celebrate his 74th birthday on 8th April this year. He is 1.7 meters tall (5.57 feet) and he weighs 84 kilograms.

Career

Post completion of his education, Kiyosaki joined as a desk officer. Then, he joined the Marine Corps in 1972. His initial posting was as a Helicopter Gunship Pilot. He rendered useful service in the Vietnam War and he even received Air Medal for his contribution to the war.

In 1973, he enrolled for a Master in Business Administration course at the Hilo counter of the University of Hawaii. After completing this post-graduation course, he sought relief from the Marine Corps. His plea was granted and he was discharged from the Naval Force with due diligence.

He joined Xenon Corporation as a salesman from 1974 to 1978. It is during his stint in the company that he decided to become an entrepreneur. In the year 1977, he started his brand – a reputed one at that time known as Rippers. The company brought Velcro and Nylon in the market. Owing to financial loss in the venture, he decided to wind it off.

His next venture was a retail business that too suffered tremendous monetary thrashes leading him to a state of bankruptcy. Despite successive losses, he was not disheartened.

Kiyosaki started writing Rich Dad Poor Dad along with co-writer Sharon Lechter and self-published the book.

He then forayed into the sphere of education by launching Cashflow Technologies Inc. This company was incepted to educate individuals with finance and corporate concepts. It has launched a game that contains several tutorials. The company could fix a successful pugmark in the US economy. Robert has invested in other ventures too. He laid the foundation of Rich Dad Company and Rich Global LLC, which earn him immense wealth.

The inspiring businessman received Academy Awards twice in his lifetime – in 1981 and 2002. He then bagged Golden Globes Awards in 1975, 1977, 1978, 1981, and 1994.

The year 1994 was one of the most years for Robert Kiyosaki. This year, he was awarded Circuit Community Awards, Brasov International Film Festival and Market Awards.
