About Magi: Adventure of Sinbad
Magi: Adventure of Sinbad or Magi: Sinbad no Bouken in Japanese, is an anime fantasy series that is inspired by the manga of the same title. It is written by Shinobu Ohtaka and illustrated by Yoshifumi Ohtera. The first manga was first released last May 8, 2013. After three years of the published date, an anime TV series adaptation was created and its first release was on April 16, 2016.
While other shows inspired by the manga was released, such as Magi: The Kingdom of Magic and Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, many fans around the world are eager to see a season 2 of Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.

Magi: Adventure of Sinbad Plot
All anime series and movies under the Magi franchise are based on the Arabian Nights stories. They retell and focus on the adventures of the famous characters from various Middle Eastern folktales.
For Magi: Adventure of Sinbad, it began its story in a small village called Tison. A small boy named Sinbad lives in this village and the anime mainly focuses on his adventures. He is the son of Badr, a former soldier, and Esra, a kind-hearted mother.
Upon Sinbad’s birth, a surge of strong energy radiated, alerting the pinnacle of magic that it might be the “Child of Destiny” that was born.
Even wit economic difficulties due to the war and having the pressure of his destiny, Sinbad was able to live a happy childhood life. He also grew up rather happy but all of these changed when a stranger arrived in his family’s life causing a tragedy.
After a few years, he discovers unusual towers called dungeons were built throughout their land. No one knows how these dungeons came to be but there were rumors that these hold great powers and treasures. Thousands of armies attempted to claim these treasures but no one was successful.
Becasue of this, Sinbad made it his goal to make himself known. During his adventures, he met a traveller named Yuan, who turns out to be really powerful. Touched by Sinbad’s life, Yuan led him to a dungeon that is believed to hold the power of a king. This power is strong enogh to help Sinbad change the world.
After this, the story follows the adventures of Sinbad, including the trials he has to face in order to become a dungeon conqueror.
Magi: Adventure of Sinbad Main Characters
Although this anime has a lot of caracters, we are going to focus on the two main characters of wom the story mainly evolves.
Sinbad
Sinbad is te main character of this anime series. He is portrayed as someone fun-loving, laid-back, and has a good heart. Wit his light characteristics, he is prone to doing something extravagant and getting dunk. He is also very charming and often uses his carm around teh lades to get what he wants.
Despite his fun traits, Sinbad can also be very serious. He is well-respected and hnored by people who really knows him. Furthermore, Sinbad is a very skilled swordsman and is very powerful.
Yunan
He is the mysterious traveller who Sinbad met. He turned out to be also powerful and has helped Sinbad find the dungeon that holds the power of a king. Yuan has a feminine and soft space bt e is actually powerful and is called as the Wandering Magi. He has the power to collapse and raise dungeons. Despite his powers, Yuan is kind and has a silly personality.
Magi: Adventure of Sinbad English Dub
Originally, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad is Japanese dubbed. However, you can watch an English version on Netflix to cater to different audiences around the world.
Magi: Adventure of Sinbad Season 2: When Is the Release Date?
The first season of Magi: Adventure of Sinbad was released on April 16, 2016, and after the finale, people have been patiently waiting for another season of this anime series. Sadly, there have been no news yet or any updates if there will be another season. There are still a lot of source materials for Magi: Adventure of Sinbad so we can still hope that a season 2 will happen.
Fortunately for fans, two other shows were released, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, which took place in the same universe. The story follows 15 years after Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.
While there were mixed reviews about these shows, there are still fans that appreciated them and are still hoping that there will be Magi: Adventure of Sinbad Season 2.
