Moxie CrimeFighter’s father is an American celebrity known for his work in the Penn &Teller show. As a result of Moxie’s relationship with her father, she and her brother have come into the limelight. Besides, Moxie’s father is an illusionist, comedian, and best-selling author whose work has been received well.

Moxie CrimeFighter came into the limelight when celebrities with funny names were being discussed on a television show. Moxie’s father confirmed he chose the name for his daughter, and he never cared about what everybody else thought about the name. He is glad he liked the name.

The Early Life of Penn Jillette

Penn Jillette was born on March 5, 1955, in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Penn was born to his mother, Valda Rudolph, a secretary, and Samuel Herbert Jillette, who worked in a jail.

When Penn was in her teen years, he started having second thoughts regarding God. He began asking questions in a Youth group that made other Youths doubt God’s existence, and he was always asked to leave the church. Since then, he became an atheist and embraced it openly.

Penn developed his interest in magic when he was young. When he was eighteen, he watched James Randi’s approach to magic and fell in love with it. Penn regarded magic as an instrument of entertainment rather than a supernatural power. This explains why, during his initial days in magic, he and Teller refused to be called magicians.

Penn started developing acts in 1973 after he graduated. He met Teller through a mutual friend, Weir Chrisemer when they formed a three-person act. After the act, Teller and Penn continued collaborating and doing more acts together.

The career of Moxie CrimeFighter

Moxie is still young and has not yet explained the career she wishes to focus on. On the other hand, her father has a flourishing career in the entertainment industry. Moxie’s father began his career earlier after graduation, and since then, he has grown to recognized personnel, holding various shows on radio and TV.

Penn met his partner Teller in 1974, and in 1981, they did a successful show called Penn &Teller, which they toured nationally.

The collaboration with Teller never stopped, and over the years, they have ensured they entertain their fan base as required. Jillette also served as a host and presenter in The Residents in 1983.

Due to his love to share magic with fans, he was featured in other films like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, where he took the role of Drell, a head of the Witches’ council.

Besides being a recognized magician, Penn also dived into writing books, two of which became best-selling.

Is Moxie CrimeFighter’s Father an Atheist?

Moxie’s father has openly indicated his views regarding the non-existence of God. In several interviews, the magician insists that there is no God and many people believe so but are afraid of questioning the Bible and such beliefs.

Moreover, in one of the interviews, he indicated that he was no longer an atheist because he was sure God never existed. Penn’s atheism started in his teen years, and he has grown up abiding by it.
