Both of Sara Evans’ children are rapidly maturing. Sara Evans was formerly married to aspiring politician Craig Schelske before marrying former University of Alabama football player turned sportscaster Jay Barker on June 14, 2008.

During their marriage, the couple had three children, which ended in divorce on September 28th, 2007. They had one son, Avery Jack Schelske, born in 1999, and two daughters, Olivia Margaret Schelske, and Audrey Elizabeth Schelske, born on January 22nd, 2003, and September 28th, 2007. Since then, their stepfather’s surname has been taken by all three children.
Jared Barker was allegedly arrested in January of 2022 for domestic abuse against Sara, and she has since filed a divorce petition with the court. Sara Evans has three daughters, all of whom are profiled in the following sections.

About Olivia’s Family
Olivia, the eldest daughter, is likewise following in her renowned mother’s footsteps! His latest album, Words, was released in 2017 and featured the teen as a backup singer. Avery and Olivia Barker have also created a band called The Barker Family Band and released an EP titled The Barker Family Band EP in 2019 with their mother.
Because of the importance, she places on her family, recording an album like this has been a lifelong desire of Sara’s. “I’ve wanted to do this for a long time because they were essentially reared on a tour bus around music.” “I’m grateful to collaborate with them on this project before they begin their musical journeys.”

Recently, Sara’s private and professional lives have been increasingly interwoven since Olivia has shown an interest in singing and the talent to succeed in the music industry. At a private CMA Fest event in 2017, Sara requested Olivia to sing “Tennessee Whiskey,” and we were blown away by her performance.
Following her mother’s appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan the following month, Olivia stepped in to sing backup for her.

From seeing Olivia perform on stage, it was apparent to us that she resembled her mother. Still, it wasn’t until Sara shared these images of herself and her daughter to celebrate Olivia’s 16th birthday that we realized they were identical twins.
