Cooper’s Treasure is a documentary and adventure show showing the archeological exploration of ancient artifacts and antiques that have remained present even in the modern era. As you can get a hint from the show’s name, it revolves around Gordon Cooper, the popular astronaut of NASA, treasure map. He is a well-known Aerospace engineer from America. Dating back to 1963, Gordon was appointed to Project Mercury. He was one of the astronauts of young age.
The American aerospace expert and NASA astronaut were acquainted with stupendous skills for exploring space. His discovery of shipwrecks was recognized on a wider scale by the general public. Since that time, he started gaining ample attention. Cooper has been honored with several awards and recognitions.
When NASA sent him for the Mercury mission, he found some unusual magnetic oddities. Cooper safely collected up for the debris of the ship that sank long centuries ago. Born in 1963 on February 19, Darell Miklos hails from the bloodline of treasure hunters who have been experienced in successful underwater discoveries including historical shipwrecks from the 1960s to 70s. Just like his father Roger Miklos, Darrel had always been inquisitive towards treasures. At the time of Darrell’s birth, his father had been a police official. After relocating to Florida, he met Kip Wagner, a fellow treasure hunter.
During that time Roger had a meeting with the noted American engineer Gordon Cooper. His friendship with him paved the advantage of picking the booster rockets for the Apollo Program of NASA. When Darrell was a kid, he used to accompany his father Roger, and took a keen interest in knowing about the booster rockets. At NASA, his desire for exploring the treasure hunting world got fulfilled, dipping more with interest.
In the early 1970s to 1990s, Darrell quit his work at NASA and picked a new interest in exploring many shipwreck spots on the Florida coast. The meeting of Darrell and Cooper was about to take place when in 1978, his father got an invitation to become a part of The Merv Griffin Show. Gordon Cooper, the famous American astronaut was also invited there. And so both Darrell and Cooper met during the show and shared a good bonding. Their bonding turned into an awesome partnership and both initiated in starting a series of treasure hunting.
