If you are a fan of horror shows, “Stranger Things” is your thing! It is a sci-fi, a horror story, a thriller and everything you need to quench your thirst for enigma. The series has been produced by The Duffer Brothers, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, Matt Thunell, Karl Gajdusek and Iain Paterson. The Duffer Brothers are also the creators of the series. The series aired on Netflix for the first time, in 2016, on 15 July.
Stranger Things features Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono and Dacre Montgomery in important roles. The series has had three seasons. The first season revolved around the story of a boy, named Will Byers. He lives in a town called Hawkins, and suddenly disappears. After his disappearance, certain odd activities start happening. A girl with some kind of psychokinetic powers comes into the scene and the dots start connecting.
The second season was about Will’s return into the real world and how tries to cope up with the trauma he’s gone through. Also, entities of the other world keep reminding him of the incident and keep on haunting him. The third season encompassed the dynamics of the relationship between Eleven and Mike. The series seems quite real since the makers have used the references in the plot that resemble the era on which it’s background has been set. There is a mention of Stephen King and Steven Spielberg and some strange policies by the government that were ruled out during that period.
