Sofia Elena Schlesinger is an up-and-coming singer. Born in 2001, she is better known for being the third daughter of Marilyn Milian from The People’s Court.
Father
Sofia’s father is John Schlesinger. John retired in April 2020 after fifteen years as a judge of the 11th judicial circuit court for Miami-Dade County in Florida.
Mother
Sofia Elena Schlesinger’s mother is a former judge and television personality, Marilyn Milian. Marilyn is currently the arbitrator on the popular courtroom show The People’s Court. She is a retired circuit judge. She happens to be the first-ever Hispanic arbitrator to preside over a television court show.
Marilyn joined the show’s second season after the demise of the first arbitrator Joseph Wapner. She is now the longest-serving arbitrator surpassing him, having completed over 21 years with the show as a presiding judge.
Marilyn is the daughter of Cuban immigrants and was born in Manhattan. Her family moved to Miami when she was eight years old.
Marilyn Milian has accomplished much in her legal career. She served as director of training for the Guatemala Project while working at Harvard Law School. She trained the members of the Guatemalan judicial system.
She served as the Assistant State Attorney for Dade County before being appointed to the Miami Circuit Court. After retiring from her judgeship, she joined the courtroom show as chief arbitrator. She is also the spokesperson for the FBI’s Safe Online Surfing program.
Family
Marilyn and John met in 1992 and got married in April 1993. They went on to have three children, of whom Sofia is the youngest.
The family lives together in Coral Gables, Florida. Marilyn travels to Connecticut twice a month to shoot The People’s Court.
Sisters
Sofia Elena has two older sisters, Cristina and Alexandra. Cristina is the oldest of the three sisters.
All three sisters are into music, having performed in their church band as a trio since they were very young.
Cristina graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and is apparently pursuing a career as a singer.
Alexandra is also into music. She has a YouTube channel where she publishes most of her music. She also featured both of her sisters in a music showdown on her YouTube channel.
Education and Career
There is not much information available about the education of the three Schlesinger sisters. Sofia, like both her older sisters, is also an aspiring singer. After completing higher education, she started pursuing music, following her sisters’ example.
Even though her mother is a television personality and her sister a YouTube star, Sofia has been relatively private and away from the limelight so far.
As the family’s youngest child, she is doted on by her parents and her sisters, as evidenced by the pictures of the Schlesinger family on the internet.
Considering her young age, she has not yet moved out of her childhood home. Sofia lives with her two sisters and parents at the moment. The family lives at their mansion in Coral Gables, Florida.
