Power storyline recap
The story of Power revolves around James St. Patrick, aka Ghost, who is a ruthless and intelligent drug dealer. James wanted to pursue a legitimate business as a nightclub owner and hoped to leave the criminal world behind. James struggles to balance his two different business endeavors as economic alliances are shifting. He also is trying to handle his shaky marriage.
In the season 6 finale titled ‘Exactly How We Planned’, it is revealed who killed Ghost and that it was Tariq, Ghost and Tasha’s only son. Tariq was the person who shot his father in the chest. Aside from that, Tasha entered her new life in prison, while Tariq started his new life at college.
Power season 7 Plot
When the show got renewed for season 6, it was then later announced that it will be the last season. Fans were left hanging as the show ended with shocking revelations. However, the network, Starz, has announced that they planned four upcoming spin-offs of the show. The spin-offs are entitled Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force, and Power Book V: Influence.
‘Power Book II: Ghost’ will revolve around the son of Ghost, Tariq, as he embarks on his new criminal life while facing a lot of pressure to protect his loved ones.
‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan will revolve around the life of Kanan. The story is a prequel.
‘Power Book IV: Force will revolve around Tommy as he travels to Los Angeles, California, and Chicago.
‘Power Book V: Influence’ will be a sequel that will revolve around the political world focusing on Tate’s rise to power.

As there won’t be any season 7 of Power, you could still get to watch your favorite characters in the four spin-offs. It is safe to say that you will see the main characters again.

Power season 7 Release date
Fans of the show are eagerly waiting for the return of the show. Though there won’t be another season, there will be four spin-offs of Power.
For the first spin-off, Power Book II: Ghost, it was announced that the show is set to premiere on September 6, 2020.
For the second spin-off, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, it was announced that the show is set to premiere on July 18, 2021.
For the third spin-off, Power Book IV: Force, it was announced that it is set to premiere in January 2022.
The fourth spin-off has yet to be announced.
