How to ensure privacy with window film on windows

Does window film work? For sure, it is a great way to provide your home with a high level of comfort in any climate and weather conditions. Due to the high number of window film models available on the modern market, anyone can purchase additional glass protection, change the window tint, and improve the thermal insulation properties of their home.

Tinted windows guarantee a high level of privacy.

This is an extremely important aspect for a cozy and pleasant home atmosphere, even if you live on the first floor of a high-rise building or your windows face directly onto the street. Many privacy window film models provide zero visibility while leaving the windows clear from inside the building. Window tinting is a practical necessity for many families – quick and easy installation, just a few hours – and your home is protected from prying eyes. Window privacy film – see out not in – advantages and details following.

Window film applications and use

Window film is widely used to improve the strength of glass. In the event of mechanical damage or foreign objects, glass shards do not scatter in all directions – the window glass receives a dent. Other purposes for using window film:

  • Aesthetic design of the building facade. Thanks to the high number of shades and textures available to the buyer, a unique complement to the building’s contours is guaranteed;
  • Protection from excessive ultraviolet radiation and infrared light. Innovative types of window films protect the room from direct sunlight, thereby maintaining optimal temperature balance in the room. 99% of ultraviolet rays are simply reflected, and pure sunlight of the required brightness enters the room. Most often, window films with UV protection are required in office buildings – thanks to fine-tuning window tinting and high-quality lighting, an optimal light balance and working atmosphere is established;
  • Window film is widely used for car tinting. The automotive industry has recently demonstrated excellent results in terms of increasing the strength and heat resistance of interior glass. However, specialized window film often comes to the rescue of drivers – by enhancing its strength characteristics and allowing it to withstand uniquely high pressures, the film can save lives in the event of a car accident;
  • Energy saving. Thanks to the use of the most innovative technologies in the production of window film, it is possible to achieve minimal heat loss during the cold season. In northern latitudes, thermal insulation film may be critically needed when replacing window glass or frame;
  • Fast and easy installation. How to apply window tint? Most types of window film on the market today are characterized by a quick installation process – gluing the film takes no more than a few hours, even when working with wide or tall windows.

How to provide privacy. Window film tinting

Window film is widely used for the first floors of residential buildings, to ensure privacy in office premises – corporate espionage when shading sunlight with dark shades with a perforated texture will most likely be unsuccessful (for example, Solaris 979 model).

For wide-format windows, for example, on the front facade of a building, a special adhesive tinting is used, which has the same effect as tinting car windows. Thanks to shading, privacy and inaccessibility of the premises to prying eyes is guaranteed. This is an indispensable attribute for business and industrial buildings. Window film for privacy is used everywhere – business buildings, skyscrapers, living houses.

New types of window films reduce exposure to infrared radiation and also cut out most of the harmful ultraviolet radiation, making the light balance in the room optimal for work or life.
