Bam Margera, who was born on the 28th of September 1979, is an American actor, stunt man, and professional skater.
He is best known as one of the casts of the MTV reality stunt show called “Jackass” and his spin-offs “Viva La Bam” and “Bam’s Unholy Union”. He also co-wrote and directed a few movies during his career.
Brandon Margera is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He attended high school in West Chester East Highschool but later dropped out after his friend got expelled.
Bam sees himself as a very loyal friend and said that the only reason he went to school was that his friends were there. Bam received his GED a few years later.

Bam Margera originally started as a professional skater doing stunts and tricks that he filmed. The videos later became part of Camp Kill Yourself or CKY– a video series that had ten thousands of fans and became popular between 1999 to 2002.
Tremaine cast Margera and his crew to film a new production called “Jackass” which was a reality comedy TV show where the actors would perform difficult stunts among themselves without censorship.
The film debuted in 2000 on MTV and was a huge hit among teenagers then. The TV show had its fair share of controversies involving indecent and dangerous acts performed by the crew which prompted its cancellation. In 2002, Margera released a movie version of the show directed by Tremain. The movie grossed over $79 million worldwide.
After Jackass: The Movie, Bam Margera co-created and produced Viva La Bam in 2003. This TV series highlighted Bam’s attempts to anger his parents. He follows a specific challenge and theme per episode.
It still involves skateboarding and doing pranks, but it was less harmful compared to Jackass. It was aired on MTV for five seasons before it ended in 2005. He also produced and helped to create Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show and Bam’s World Domination.

This is after several scandals in 2019 in which he was removed from an airline flight because he was supposedly, too drunk to board the plane. He posted a chain of videos on his Instagram account the next day asking for help from Dr. Phil saying in which he was referred to a treatment center following one-on-one sessions for his issues.

Bam’s first serious relationship was with the actress Jennifer Rivell. She quickly became part of Margera’s projects and appeared in them while they were dating. They were together for seven years and eventually got engaged. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in 2005 for unknown reasons.
Bam then started seeing his childhood friend, Missy Rothstein, and soon got engaged in 2006. Their wedding preparations were all shown on the show “Bam’s Unholy Union”– a nine-episode reality TV show that was co-created and produced by him.
The final episode showed their wedding ceremony in 2007. The marriage did not last long either, and they lived separately around 2010 and eventually got divorced in November 2012.
In October 2013, Bam married model Nicole Boyd during the Random Hero Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland. They welcomed their first child named Phoenix Wolf, on the 23rd of December 2017.
