TOKYO RAVENS SEASON 2 DEPARTURE DATE, RENEWAL, YET POSSIBLE? – ANIME NEWS

Kyoto Crows, a Japanese light novel serialized in 2010, was assigned to be adapted into multimedia such as manga a few years later. A few decades later, Shounen Ace, a popular shounen magazine, began to be published monthly. The novel itself from Kei Azzano was also adapted for Chinese animation.

Awarded by the Funimation company licensed then, Star Align was produced by the same studio that produced anime such as Otherworld. The Otherworld series, broadcast by television networks like Tokyo MX, KBS, TV Aichi, AT-X, and BS11, aired from October 9, 2013, to March 26, 2014, in 24 episodes. It has been several years, but fans are still waiting for a second season. Let’s be sure to remember the series and take a look at the last season’s most recent news.

WHAT PERVERSE PHILOSOPHY WAS THE TRUE LYRIC OF TOKYO RAVEN?

The nature of spiritual beings is known as Onmyoujis. People who are part of these groups can control spiritual energies. After a failure of a play such as this one in Tokyo, schools started to train these tenets. While our main character, Tsuchimikado Harutora, is an Onmyouji, he cannot see spiritual energy.

As a result, he endures his everyday life by partaking in entertaining activities with his good friends in the countryside, far away from all this disorder. Refusal to assume being an Onmyouji despite his friends’ encouragement, Harutora, a moment ago, was also childhood friends with Natsume, the current head of the family. He promised Natsume as a child, but his commitment has expired because he has no spiritual gift.

On the other hand, Natsume is a talented Onmyouji, called a genius, who manages the entire household. Although Harutora wishes to defend his image by becoming Onmyouji, he cannot escape his destiny. In memory of his promise to Natsume, he decides to repeat a prestigious school in Tokyo. Harutora teams up with Natsume and trains himself to avenge the 12 Heaven Generals running Tokyo.

LIGHT NOVEL

Tokyo Raven’s light novel series written by Kei Azano and illustrated by Sumihei ran from May 2010 to October 2018 and is no longer ongoing. The series featured a total of 16 volumes and four volumes that were not necessary (but were available). If we go through the main volumes, the first nine volumes were adapted in the anime’s first season. The bulk of the source material remains at seven books, but by bringing the total number of episodes to 24, perhaps it is still feasible to make a 12-episode series. But finding a sponsor to restart the series would be difficult, and the introductory pilot would have little to do with the light novel’s primary plot.

POPULARITY

The autumn of 2013 saw a portfolio of Ravens Japanese-language disc sales fall over 2,247, with a cost per volume of about 4,000. Japanese anime has long been known for selling four thousand or more (on average) a season. Our investigation shows that a particular anime’s search volume has decreased significantly in recent years. The anime has 27,000 fewer followers on Twitter than on other platforms. With no sequel prospects, it seems unlikely that the season 2 announcement will be made.

CONCLUSION

Despite the popularity of Tokyo Ravens, The anime community is showing occasional signs of unexpected renewal. People are looking forward to an influx of new series around 2024. However, this probability is very low, and renewal is needed first. Until then, we highly advise that you see similar animes such as Noragami and The God of High School. We’ll have a new update when new information is available.
